Why was the sense
Extracted from innocence?
Life’s purity bottled-up
And sold for a song
Since ages gone

The great bird traversed
The sacred healing plane
‘Till what was profaned
Was made sacred again

This flight most sure
You must endure
To cross the seas
From shore to shore

And the church
Like a gigantic engine
Casting “light”
They like to call it

Mobile energy, synchopated
Spring your inner tension
Travels through an outer ring

Atom smasher, trajectory bender
This “Christian Science”
Is free to wander.

I’ll take you to a place
Where the washing up’s never done
Because there isn’t any
And everyone lives in bountiful plenty
And our cups are never empty

There is work all day long
And dancing in the sun
A swimming pool the length of an ocean
A house that is hot in winter and cool in the summer
You can work outdoors in the rain

So many inversions
They put you through
To burn-out all the memory
Impossible to trace
Through the inner space
Napalm-like-drug
To rope your race

If God be three-in-one and one-in-three
It’s only because humankind can never be free
Unless I lovest thee, and thou lovest me.
