You made my life shine
Re-kindled passion I thought was blunted
I think you understand me
I’m not really that complicated
I wonted, was baited, fated then sated
I was killed, was willed, in motion stilled
I crumbled, I tumbled, in love again
Yet there is a wanderlust within me
I was fated, now I am wiser
So rather than sit on it, I spread my nest egg
No regrets, nothing promised
I would not compromise you
Break your heart or chastise you
Yet I’ve a feeling deep within
That I like a woman to win
It feeds my male ego
Pushes me on to where I want to go
So if it’s not too demanding of your troubled existence
Bless with love and understanding
Press my button, let me go
Then together we may grow.
